review mee audio m6 pro 2nd generation

More than a year has passed since Mee Audio first released the M6 Pro headphones. The company has now launched the second generation of headphones, which promise a better audio experience. So how do they compare to the original? We took a closer look to find out. Read about our full review.

The Mee Audio M6 Pro 2nd Gen Headphones are the company’s latest offering and are designed for those looking for an affordable audio experience. According to the company, the Mee Audio M6 Pro 2 are touted as an affordable pair of professional IEMs, but at $50, can they really meet the needs of professional musicians? and do these headphones offer an “unparalleled listening experience?” I’m happy to test them to see if that’s true. In this post, I will share my thoughts on the 2nd generation Mee Audio M6 Pro headphones after using them for a while. So if you want to learn more about these headphones, then keep reading!

We had more fun with this IEM than we expected.

Making a difference in the low-cost IEM market is extremely difficult, and the Mee Audio M6 Pro 2nd Gen is competing right in the middle of this market. In the $50 price range, you get companies like KZ that are capable of offering multi-driver IEMs (See KZ AS10) for incredibly cheap prices. Mee Audio is a second-generation product that aims higher than its predecessor by focusing more on musical performance and less on sound quality. It further reinforces its seriousness towards music with its IEM design and accompanying accessories.

The IEMs are not perfect but they sure made us have fun.

At first, we were skeptical about their performance and if it really deserved to be called a musician-grade device. But after giving them some time in our ears (and forgetting all other priorities), there’s one thing that can’t be denied: The M6 Pro sounds more interesting than ever before!

Mee Audio M6 Pro 2nd Generation

The Mee Audio M6 Pro 2nd Generation earphones provide an immersive listening experience with high-quality sound. They’re perfect for people who want to get the most out of their music, whether they’re at home or on the go. These earphones have a sleek design that’s sure to turn heads, and they come in a variety of colors so you can choose the one that best suits your style.

Plus, they’re lightweight and comfortable so you can wear them for hours on end without feeling weighed down. If you’re looking for a great pair of earphones that will give you an immersive listening experience, then the Mee Audio M6 Pro 2nd Generation is definitely worth considering.

Specifications.

The M6 Pro has been designed to work with a variety of devices and brands, but it’s important that you check your specifications before purchasing. For example, the BTX Bluetooth adapter won’t fit because this earphone uses an MCX connector instead!

Main attractions:

  • Good quality packaging
  • Adhere to foam ear tips
  • 6.35mm. adapter
  • Additional cable with a mic provided
  • No balanced cable options available

Good quality packaging- The packaging of the M6 Pro is not your usual flimsy cardboard box. The company has chosen an attractive and durable design that can withstand any pressure placed on it without fear of falling apart or crumpled under pressure!

Detachable Cable- The M6 Pro’s cable is designed to be detachable, which means if you want the freedom to monitor one ear instead of wearing both ears out to hear through two speakers at the same time. so easy! transform your listening experience and use only one earpad at a time, there are two options – remove the cables of the original stereo headphones (stereo) or reattach them using use a new type of straight plug called “mono”.

6.35mm Adapter- The inclusion of this 6.35 mm (quarter inch) adapter is a statement that these headphones are intended for professionals, it may fit the theme that they are professional monitor headsets for those working in audio or video production environments where quarter-inch jacks are commonly found on professional equipment such as microphones and receivers from popular brands like Shure, Yeti, etc., instead of just another cheap pair sought by gamers to Branch Out!

No Balanced Audio- This is a downside of this mic, Unlike their other models which support MMCX connectors and offer 2mm DC connectors for use with professional equipment like reel players -to-reel or digital recorders. The M6 Pro uses a 2mm DC connector. There are currently no balanced cables that support that connector.

Mike from Mee Audio answered our questions about using 2mm DC connectors instead of the old mmcx connectors. and how to use the two different types of connectors and he says that both are equally reliable but offer slightly different benefits. DCS will last longer over time as they are more difficult to rotate in the socket while MM corporation singer monitors require an adapter when using this type of plug on stage or near noisy equipment Loud noise can cause feedback issues depending on where you’re sitting in relation to your sound source.

As an additional option for customers who want even better sound quality, we are now offering 2mm cables to give customers more choice, instead of MMEX. (we have 5 cables in stock at the moment). These cables offer a higher standard and will be more expensive because they don’t include any connection costs in their pricing structure – which means you get to Get your favorite headphones or speakers without paying too much!

What’s in the box:

  • M6 PRO-in-ear monitor
  • Cable (2)
  • Stereo audio cable ( TRS )
  • Stereo headphone cable ( TRRS )
  • Hard carrying case
  • Follow tips on using memory foam
  • Silicone earmuffs (6 pairs)
  • Coat clip (2)
  • ” (TRS) adapter.

Build quality

  • Transparent cover shows a simple electrical circuit
  • Custom masks can enhance the look
  • Easy cable replacement.

Transparent Driver Box – The M6 Pro’s Transparent Case is an interesting choice. The single dynamic driver means no complicated circuitry to brag about, and the few exposed wires make it look cheaper in comparison!

Custom Faceplates – The M6 Pro’s custom faceplate allows you to carve your band’s name or any other design into it, giving them an elegant look that would make even Jay-Z proud.

The custom faceplates for the M6 Pro IEMs are an elegant way to personalize your earphones. You can purchase etching masks from mee audio, which you then glue onto a driver unit in order to increase its beauty even further! Imagine someone carving their band’s name into this sleek design; it would look incredible with all sorts of intricate detailing as script fonts or beautiful artwork etched right onto metal sheets that have been intricately worked over by hand–it really brings home how special these headphones truly feel when wearing them because nobody will ever be able to stop noticing what YOU did !!!

Easy Cable Replacement – This makes it easy to replace cables! The M6 Pro has a 2mm DC connector that easily plugs into the driver box. There are also alignment marks at both ends so you can get the most out of every little bit of power these speakers have without sacrificing sound quality or usability for those around your home. Cable replacement made easy.

Sound quality

  • V-shaped negative signature
  • Bass is my favorite frequency
  • Background details are not strong

Setup: Spotify Premium > MacBook Pro > Mee Audio M6 Pro.

The bass of this phone is decent and strong enough for me to enjoy EDM tracks like Massive Attack’s Unbroken Sympathy or Swiss House Mafia’s Save The World. I also found it didn’t dampen the mid-tones at all, despite having a stronger beat in some cases, such as with Daniel Jang’s classical violin pieces, where he used rude sound effects. on my own (to test the treble). found that the M6 Pro rounded the highs fairly smoothly without making the sound squeaky.

Pros

+ Detachable cable
+ Both stereo and headphone cables are provided
+ Custom faceplate
+ V-shaped negative signature
+ Powerful bass
+ IPX5.

Defect.

– The circuit doesn’t look pleasant
– Unfriendly 2mm DC connector
– Flat background details.

Conclusion

The Mee Audio M6 Pro 2nd generation IEM is a great product for its price. It offers features and sound quality that are above what other products in its class can offer. If you’re looking for an IEM to use for professional purposes, the Mee Audio M6 Pro is a great option that won’t break the bank. Have you tried out the Mee Audio M6 Pro? What did you think of it?
